The Mayan Calendar

What the Mayans were actually doing was tracking the Precession of the Equinox. That takes approximately 26,000 years to complete. Please see below link to illustrate:

Please research this subject for yourselves...people really need to get informed about this. I personally know a few people who think this is doomsday for the whole world. 12/21/12 will not be, the "End of Days."

Springtime is here! Oh wait, it never really left!

What a weird "winter" we've had! (If you want to call what we've had winter.) I've had flowers coming up since January. Getting ready to put out the green peppers, tomatoes & more flowers later this week.

WooHoo Summer's Gone

What a fast summer THAT was! And there it was, gone...

WooHoo Summer's Almost Here!

We've finally decided to take a little vacation ~ we're thinking Wyoming and Utah...someplace peaceful, tranquil, and off the beaten path.

Almost Christmas!!!

It's nearly time for Christmas again...time to stretch the budget to it's limit! :-) Well this year is going to be different since Hailey is here...it'll be tons of fun now, with a new baby in the family! Can't wait! Check out my flickr photos here to see how she's grown!

The family seems to be doing better lately. Nick is doing his thing with his new "LoanMind" software launch in September; Sarah loves her job - she's an antique appraiser, jeweler, and today is her birthday! Happy Birthday Sarah!!!!!!! Jessica & Dee are doing alright; she's working a lot, and Hailey is growing leaps & bounds...I'll bet she's walking by the end of this year. She's pulling herself up now, sitting really well by herself, and motors around like mad on hand & knee :-) Love that baby girl!
